The school Chinese Orchestra was established in 1997. It has been adhering to the purpose of promoting Chinese music and popularizing Chinese music, providing students in the school with opportunities to train Chinese musical instruments, perform Chinese music and appreciate Chinese music.

The Chinese Orchestra organizes musical instrument training classes every year. Experienced amateur performers act as instructors to teach students to play Chinese musical instruments, including flute, guzheng, dulcimer, pipa, zhongruan, liuqin, erhu and percussion instruments, etc. happy interest.

In order to give students the opportunity to show their strengths and gain experience, they have held Chinese music performances, Chinese music recitals and music exchange meetings for many times, and each time they received support and praise from parents, classmates and teachers. In the "Music Extravaganza" Chinese Orchestra Competition, it won the Bronze Award and the Merit Award. The results are gratifying.

In addition, the school has also established a drum band, with the goal of developing students' musical potential, enhancing personal character and group awareness, and condensing the school's music culture. Through drum music, students' motivation and fighting spirit are stimulated, and morale is boosted from adversity. It is also hoped that students will give full play to their infinite creativity through formations, performances, costumes, etc. while learning about Chinese "drum culture".

The drum band has performed on behalf of the school many times, including the 2008 Olympic Games hosted by Beijing, and was invited to be a guest performer in the equestrian competition held in Hong Kong; in 2010 and 2011, it was invited by the Hong Kong Airport Authority for two consecutive years to perform in Hong Kong during the Chinese New Year. The airport made a performance to welcome the new year. In 2013, he served as the guest performer at the opening ceremony of the first World Scout Education Conference; and was invited by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government to perform in the "2013 New Year's Eve Countdown Carnival", which received rave reviews. Every year, the drum band of our school is invited to serve as the performance unit of different associations or organizations, so that the public can feel the surging enthusiasm of the drum band.

Since the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra began organizing the "Hong Kong Drum Festival" in 2003, the school's drum band has been actively participating every year and has won numerous awards in drum competitions.
