STEM is an acronym that refers collectively to the academic disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. In response to the changing needs in our society and the rapid economic, scientific, and technological developments in the 21st century, it is essential to promote STEM education and equip our students with the capability to meet the changes and challenges in society and around the world.

The school has attached great importance to cultivating students in science, technology, mathematics, and creativity. To further strengthen STEM education, the school established a STEM education group to coordinate relevant courses and activities; "Technology & Creativity Zone" was built in January 2016, equipped with 3D printers, laser cutting machines, computers and computer software, gadgets, etc., for STEM education Provide a well-equipped environment.

The school's students, the robot production team, and the Odyssey of the Mind participate in various science-related competitions yearly. During the competition, students should combine the knowledge they have learned in science, technology, and mathematics, add creativity, and solve problems. Through various activities inside and outside the school, not only can students strengthen their ability to synthesize and apply knowledge and skills, but they can also stimulate their creativity and they can also cultivate their ability to collaborate and solve problems, which is precisely the goal of STEM education.

In the 2017-2018 school year, in addition to continuing to lead students to participate in various science and technology creativity competitions, the school also integrated STEM education into the classroom. It implemented school-based STEM courses in the science subject of Form 1 and the computer subject of Form 2. The subjects of Science in Secondary 1 are scientific inquiry and creative invention, while Computer Science in Secondary 2 is robot making and programming. As a result, every student becomes a maker (MAKER) who can use various technical means to transform ideas into physical works.
